Realize through real eyes

for everyone

Looking inside from the outside,

this is our place, this is our time

and we don't know what we don't know

but it's alright

out in it all, immersed in the world until that moment where I realize I love you still.

It brings me back here to view because I found myself inside of you.

I could listen while we sit here,

think up something deep to say

make up some old story

because it's my right,

but not today...

trying to escape my feelings, drowning in a sea of vast immensity, just to dull the pain and feel and dance as one with rain.

How long have I waited

for such an endless moment?

How long have I hated

the world's pointless silence

as some storms do, a quiet rage internalized and sucking in on itself, possibly more violent could you ever find its eye?

For you, I'll look inside and think and feel and try to see through this moment, with the wind quietly raging on from you to me, across our vast and endless sea.

Speak, speak now

as time is short and it

reeks, reeks now

of death's retort.

Style, seasons gone

our life is long

forever here in love,

outlasting all we'll ever know.

This is a most unusal posting Ben. Mixing the good with the bad, but still in love. That is true love.
Good job!

One of my chief delights is living inside my head and finding when I do, you are there and I am living inside your head, and somehow it's alright and it's all One and when I prick my finger, you bleed.

Wren,
I am glad and honored to call you my friend as well. Have you ever noticed there are some people who feel like you knew them before you met them? If that makes any sense to you, you are one of those people to me. :)

AJ,
Thanks very much. I see this one as sort of a song, kind of a different flow to it.

Pollyanna,
I am glad you find it unusual and in that I am smiling because that's exactly what I wanted to do here on this one. Very fun to write.

Roset,
Living in thought you become thought and spread out to others who are in theirs and then the world shares?
Something like that, I guess... I tried to give this one a different feel to it by meshing two things together, making kind of a snap here and there within, like the words are being let out to breathe and try to say as much as they can before being shoved back into the poem.

Sometimes the way things are set up, we draw another in, and if they can find their identity in the words, we meld.

Yes, I have experienced that feeling. With some people, it just seems naturally comfortable and familiar to be together. I feel I know you when you write, and I sense the line break and sure enough, you do too. When I see a word I too have or would use. Familiarity. Yes.
