Ben,

This was entertaining yet enlightening, you have such skill with expression, you evoke a sense of humor, followed by a few "perplexing moments of thought"yet you make one think, perhaps for a long time afterwards, that in this crazy mix of stimuli there is a profound message.

Another cool video Ben. I like the way you put the noise in the background.
Message heard and noted. You do well with your video's.

In a box .......

Thanks everyone. I was going to make it longer, but it sort of fizzled in production and I thought it might be more fun with a lot of unknowns. What's on the hill? That's what I want to know and never found out. Maybe another time I'll pick up this one where it left off.

What is on the hill? sounds like another story is in the works. Then maybe not, but I have my own suspicions as to what is there. for me a scary place manifests all of our fears. So that the hill could be a place that everyone sees something different. We are our own worst enemies in this way. No?
bendean wrote on Mar 24
I like the unknown quality of the hill. I have an image of what it is to me as well, and it is very similar to your version, Cyndi.
pollyanna39 wrote on Mar 24
I think the hill was his own manifestations and Illusions from drinking.
Everyone has skeletons in their closet. I don't think that one who drinks can see clearly.
But, that's my opinion. Just a thought Ben. I cant wait to hear yours.
bendean wrote on Mar 24
Or is it the hill and what he saw there what actually caused him to start drinking? We'll never know... that sounds funny. I wrote this and I am saying, "We'll never know." as if someone else wrote it. Silly me. Speculating about my own story. :)

I knew my statement would get that mind of yours thinking Ben. It is your story to tell.
cailet wrote on Mar 24
Ben lots of authors talk that way about their stories. They relate that the stories take on a life of their own.

I just bought a movie called "sranger than fiction " and was about to watch it. I think it is about that.

Have you seen or heard of it?
honorbright24 wrote on Mar 25
I dunno...I'm always really curious when people tell me what a painting of mine 'is thinking' like they might 'know' better than I.
cailet wrote on Mar 25
That is because they are interpreting it...it takes on meaning for them. and therefore the meaning is expanded. i love when that happens.. ;-)

And so much why I love the 'arts.' They awaken us to thinking.
